Toys"R"Us Coming Back to Michigan For Holidays
Two Toys”R”Us stores are coming to Michigan this holiday season as part of the company’s launch of 30 stores nationwide, including eight permanent flagship stores.
The seasonal locations will be located at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills and Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi according to the company’s release.
No permanent locations have been planned for Michigan. The seasonal opportunity marks the first chance for shoppers to revisit the classic retailer since closing its last Michigan doors in 2018.

Wyandotte Blocks Fluoride in Water Supply
The Wyandotte Municipal Services Commission voted to reject a resolution on Wednesday that would have restored fluoride in the city’s water supply.
The vote followed a Department of Energy significant violation notice which urged the City of Wyandotte to inform residents of its plan regarding fluoride.
The resolution failed to pass after a 2-2 vote from the commission. You can read more on what commission officials had to say on the vote here.
Ford Recalls 59,000 Vehicles Over Fire Risk
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced a recall from Ford that affects over 59,000 vehicles nationally due to an engine fire risk.
According to the recall, affected vehicles’ block heater may crack and develop a coolant leak, causing it to short circuit when the block heater is plugged in.
The recall affects a mix of sedan, pickup, and SUV models across the Ford and Lincoln brands. You can read the full list of affected models, and how to pursue a fix, here.
