Autonomous Semi Trucks Hit Michigan Roads

Torc Robotics, a subsidiary company of German commercial vehicle manufacturer Daimler Trucks, began testing atonomous commercial semi trucks on public roads in Michigan.

The company plans to begin testing its trucks in the Ann Arbor area after establishing an engineering office there one year ago.

Torc’s expansion into Michigan follows prior testing of their trucks in Blacksburg, Virginia, and Dallas, Texas.

Boyne Golf Makes USA Today Top 10

BOYNE Golf, a collection of eleven golf courses across three resorts in Northern Michigan, was nominated on USA Today’s 10BEST list for the top ten courses in America.

The Northern Michigan courses were nominated for USA Today’s top 10 list due to their widely varying levels of difficulty and captivating scenic holes.

BOYNE Golf previously won USA Today’s 10BEST award in 2025.

Search Continues For Missing Marquette Student

Authorities are still searching for a missing 21-year-old Northern Michigan University student who was last seen early Sunday morning.

Hundreds have joined in the search efforts for Trenton Massey, who appeared disoriented in his last appearance, according to police.

Massey was last seen wearing an olive-green and black jacket, and dark pants.
