🚙 Ford Racing Brings Global Launch Event to Detroit

Ford Racing announced their global launch event will take place in Detroit for the first time ever in January.

The event planned for Michigan Central Station during Detroit Auto Show Week will feature a star-studded lineup of drivers and the design of the Ford-Red Bull cars that will bring Ford back to Formula 1 for the first time in 22 years.

🕵🏼 Huge Drug Bust in Macomb County

The Macomb County Sherriff’s Office announced a drug bust that involved over 1,500 pounds of Marijuana, $380,000 of cash, crack cocaine, and five vehicles.

Three men from Shelby Township were arrested in connection to the bust for allegedly operating a sophisticated, multi-state trafficking network that sold bulk marijuana ranging from 6 to 150 pounds.

According to the Sherriff’s office, all three men have been charged with delivery and manufacture of 45 kilograms of marijuana, conspiracy to commit controlled substance delivery or manufacture, and maintaining a drug house.

📚 Historic Kalamazoo Book Store to Reopen

The historic Michigan News Agency building in Kalamazoo announced it will reopen its doors one final time for a community book sale later this month.

The beloved store, open since 1947, closed its doors earlier this year after the owner Dean Hauck passed away in February.

New ownership at the store stated their desire is “to honor its deep cultural impact” by hosting the book sale.

The store will open on November 22nd, 23rd, and 29th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with 50% off all books. You can find more on the history behind the building, and event details here.
