Michigan Braces for More Heavy Snow, Arctic Air
Just a day after Southeast Michigan was pummeled with 8 inches of snow, other parts of the Mitten are expected to see up to seven inches through Saturday morning.
Winter weather advisories have been issued for 13 counties along the Lake Michigan shoreline and north of Holland through 7 a.m. Saturday.
Following this weekend’s snowfall, most of Michigan is bracing for extreme cold temperatures as low as 25 below zero starting Monday.
The Friday morning and evening commutes are expected to be impacted by today’s weather. You can see a full map of the affected counties here.
Most Dangerous Roundabouts in State Ranked
A new report from Michigan Auto Law ranked the ten most dangerous roundabouts in Michigan based on accident data.
The roundabout at 18 1/2 Mile Road at Van Dyke Avenue in Sterling Heights was ranked the most dangerous in the state.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, roundabouts reduce the number of fatal and serious injuries, but increase the total amount of accidents.

Cheboygan Man Wins $1 Million in Surprise Text
A 65-year-old Cheboygan man won $1 million in the Powerball, and discovered his lucky win in an unconventional manner.
Bryan Spray bought his ticket from Court Street Party Market, the same store he has purchased tickets from over the years.
According to Spray, he forgot to check his ticket, and awoke to a text from his son asking if he was the lucky winner from Cheboygan the news was reporting.
